The Hotel is 350 Metres from
the centre of Fort Augustus (which is on the Banks of Loch Ness).
Two rivers and a canal running through the village, this must be one
of the most naturally picturesque villages in Scotland.
The Hotel is easy to find as
it is on the south side of the main Road that runs through the
village.
The most popular Route from
South West Scotland is via the A82 "Following the West Highland Way":-
Loch Lomand, Glen Coe, Fort William and up the Great Glen.
Please take Note that it
is easy to miss the A82 if you are coming from the South.
The best route is:- M6 - M74 then take the exit for M8 (Glasgow City
Centre) and follow directions to Glasgow Airport and cross over
the Erskine Bridge to A82.
From South East of Scotland
the Route follows the A9 to Perth and onto Dalwhinnie the A86 to Spean
Bridge and Great Glen.
The only airport in the region is near Inverness.
